This Information Sheet is designed to assist a compliance manager to identify what are standard form contracts and review them for possible issues, to assist the licensee to obtain legal review of such contracts. The Information Sheet takes into consideration changes to the unfair contract terms regime, which took effect in November 2023, and which include penalties for the inclusion of unfair terms in standard form contracts.
