Version 7.5 -
Last updated: 28 Aug. 2024
This bundle is designed for an AFS licensee to develop a policy for reporting and documenting breaches and events to ASIC. It has been updated as a result of changes to ASIC’s RG 78 (Breach reporting by AFS licensees and credit licensees). It includes a flowchart and steps to consider in determining if a reportable situation has occurred. It has been designed to align with the requirements of section 912D of the Corporations Act 2001, and ASIC’s RG 104 (Licensing: Meeting the general obligations), RG 105 (AFS licensing: Organisational competence) and RG 78.
